Arpan Home Roy is a Film Producer-Director. He has worked on many documentaries and feature films in India. He has been a Local (Line) Producer for multiple international films in collaboration with international Production like Berlin Producers GmBH and Medienkontor GmBH which have been aired on international public broadcasting network including Arté, Geo360° Reportage.

He is also Film Festival Programmer. In the past, he has been associated with IFFI-Goa, National Film Awards (India), NFDC Film Bazaar, Jio MAMI Mumbai, Bodhisattva International Film Festival, Patna Film Festival and several small and mid range film festivals in India.

He was the Distribution Head at MovieSaints, an online streaming platform, where he distributed the critically acclaimed film ‘Aamis’ (Ravening) that premiered in Tribeca Film Festival, with the new simultaneous (Theatre and Online) release. He went on to distribute other indie films with small and medium budget. Recently, he has been pivotal in releasing the critically acclaimed film ‘JORAM’, that premiered in Rotterdam Film Festival 2023.

Academically, he is also a Film Scholar from a reputed Communication department and has expertise in the field of Films and Literature. Currently he is finalizing his PhD thesis on Films and Folklores from Pune University.
​Professionally, his strengths include ideating, building organization, quick decision making, leading-team and overall management and your go-to guy for problem-solving and crisis management.
